Background

Originally hailing from western Canada, Dustin has developed a deep love and appreciation for the state of Indiana. Dustin has been the President of the Dubois County Bar Association since early 2022. He previously served as the Vice President prior to this appointment. His connection to the local community and his understanding of its unique legal landscape makes him an asset to clients seeking legal assistance in Indiana.

From 2022 to 2023, Dustin developed the policies and procedures for the Child Protective Services for the Ministry of Children and Family Services of the Government of Alberta. This documentation was completed in accordance to existing legislation and bylaws.

Prior to his legal career, Dustin gained valuable experience in the corporate world. He worked in the Finance department of a Fortune 500 company where he honed his analytical skills and business acumen. However, his passion for helping individuals and families ultimately led him to pursue a legal career.

Education and Academic Excellence

Dustin is a proud alumnus of the Maurer School of Law, where he pursued his legal education on an Elmore Scholarship. During his time at the Maurer School of Law, he consistently excelled academically and earned places on the Dean’s Honors. This recognition highlights his dedication to legal scholarship and his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in his practice.

Dustin was actively engaged in various aspects of law school life. He served as both the Secretary and Treasurer of the Christianity Legal Society, demonstrating his commitment to the ethical and moral foundations of the legal profession. In addition, his participation as a Moot Court semifinalist showcased his strong advocacy skills and dedication to refining his courtroom abilities. Dustin was also selected as a Diversity steering member, reflecting his commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the legal community.
